“We think of teacher-heroes that taught us the academics but we don’t often think of those teachers that taught us life’s lessons.” Maria Wale, My Teacher My Hero
When I came to work this morning I found this message on top of the library Loan desk. It was placed there by Education sciences students who will be fully qualified teachers in no time. The sight of this beautiful message made me think of how often we say thank you to teachers who spend more than 6 hours with our children. How often do we say thank you to teachers who keep order and able to control even those children with ADHD? How often do we say thank you to those teachers who to put a smile to the abused and vulnerable children? The teacher who motivated you to choose the career that you are in today.
