NADEOSA Annual Conference

The National Association of Distance Education and Open Learning in South Africa (NADEOSA) is pleased to announce its annual conference will take place from 6 to 8 September 2010 at the North-West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

The theme of this conference is:   Towards sustainable open and distance learning in the developmental state: policy, ethics and practice.

The conference theme will be explored through the following sub-themes:

  • Open Distance Learning and learning technologies for developing contexts.
  • Curriculum appropriateness: context and impact.
  • Creating supportive learning environments.
  • Financing quality distance education.

NADEOSA invites colleagues and educators to present a paper at the upcoming event.  Anybody interested can send a 200 – 400 word abstract (excluding references) before 31 March 2010 to Melinda du Toit .
